Every Serie A match this season streams on Paramount+ in English, and — new for 2026-27 — every match also has a Spanish-language home at NBCUniversal, across Telemundo, Universo and Peacock. That is the whole answer, and it is a genuinely different answer than the one that applied last season.

Two things changed in 2026. In June, CBS Sports and Lega Serie A exercised a one-year option that keeps the league on Paramount+ through the end of 2026-27 and no further. Then on September 1, Telemundo announced it had taken the exclusive US Spanish-language rights for three seasons. If you looked this up a year ago, both halves of your answer are now out of date.

The season runs from August 22, 2026 to May 30, 2027 — 20 clubs, 38 matchdays, 380 matches.

Will Serie A stay on Paramount+?

Through 2026-27, yes. After that, nobody knows — and that is not a hedge, it is the actual state of the deal.

Here is what is confirmed. CBS Sports and Serie A did not sign a new contract in 2026. They exercised a mutual one-year option that was already written into their July 2024 renewal. The announcement came on June 4-5, 2026, and it extends the partnership through the end of the 2026/27 season. CBS holds the exclusive US English- and Italian-language rights for that period.

The package is 420 Italian club matches in total:

• All 380 Serie A matches, streaming live on Paramount+
• A minimum of 20 Coppa Italia matches
• Every Supercoppa Italiana fixture

Reporting puts the value in the "low eight figures" a year, unchanged from the 2024 renewal. For context, the 2021 deal that first brought Serie A to CBS was worth roughly $75 million a year. The league's US rights have lost a lot of value since.

That is precisely why this is a one-year option rather than a long deal. Serie A intends to take the rights back to the open market after 2026-27, betting that a World Cup on North American soil — plus Christian Pulisic at AC Milan and Weston McKennie at Juventus — lifts the price. So treat the 2027-28 home of Serie A as genuinely unknown. Anyone telling you now which service will have it is guessing.

Telemundo's Serie A coverage began on Friday, September 4, 2026 with Genoa vs Como. To show what the split looks like in practice, that opening weekend ran like this: Genoa-Como on Peacock and Telemundo Deportes Ahora; Fiorentina-Torino, Inter-Napoli, Frosinone-Venezia, Parma-Monza and Bologna-Sassuolo on Peacock; Roma-Atalanta and Juventus-AC Milan on Telemundo and Peacock. Two weeks later, Fiorentina-Napoli went to Universo and Peacock.

The pattern is consistent: Peacock gets everything, and the one or two biggest kickoffs are simulcast on the Telemundo broadcast network. Telemundo has not published a full-season channel-by-channel grid, so check the weekly listings rather than assuming a fixed slot.

Telemundo's deal runs three seasons, 2026/27 through 2028/29 — longer than the English-language rights it sits alongside. It also replaces the arrangement that was in place last season, when DAZN held Spanish-language Serie A in the US. How to watch Serie A without cable

You do not need cable for a single Serie A match. Here is what each route costs as of September 2026.

Which Paramount+ plan do you actually need? Essential. Serie A streams as a live event on Paramount+ and both tiers get it. Premium's headline extra — a round-the-clock live feed of your local CBS station — only matters for the handful of matches that air on the CBS broadcast network, and even then an antenna does the same job for free. Premium also adds SHOWTIME, 4K, offline downloads and ad-free on-demand. If none of those appeal, the $5 a month is not buying you more football.

Both prices went up on January 15, 2026 (Essential from $7.99, Premium from $12.99). Paramount+ also removed its standard 7-day free trial from direct signup at the same time, so the old "watch a weekend free then cancel" trick no longer works on paramountplus.com. Trials still surface through third parties — Amazon Prime Video Channels and some Walmart+ and DirecTV promotions have carried them — but availability changes constantly, so check the offer terms before you count on one.

Peacock's prices rose on August 18, 2026; if you subscribed before that date, the new rate hits on your first billing date on or after September 17, 2026.

One note on region: these are US rights. If you are travelling, buy the local service in the country you are in rather than trying to route around a geoblock — most streaming services prohibit that in their terms of use, and the legal free options above cover a lot of ground anyway.

Is there a free Serie A stream?

Yes, two of them, and they are both legitimate.

CBS Sports Golazo Network is CBS's free, 24/7, ad-supported soccer channel. It is not a Paramount+ feature you have to pay for — it runs on CBSSports.com, the CBS Sports app, Pluto TV, The Roku Channel and inside Paramount+, with no subscription and no account required on the free platforms. The channel holds live rights across a wide slate — Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, the EFL, Liga MX, Concacaf competitions — and Serie A is explicitly named as one of the outlets for select matches in the CBS rights announcement.

What Golazo is not is a free version of Paramount+. It carries a rotating selection of live matches, not all 380, alongside studio programming like Morning Footy, Matchday and Attacking Third, highlights and whip-around coverage. CBS does not publish a guaranteed number of free live Serie A matches per week, and the schedule is set close to the date — so the honest advice is to open the channel on a Saturday morning and see what is on, not to plan a season around it.

Telemundo and Telemundo Deportes Ahora are the second free route, in Spanish. Telemundo is a free over-the-air broadcast network — an antenna gets it in most US markets at no cost — and it takes the biggest match of a Serie A weekend. Telemundo Deportes Ahora is a free FAST channel available on Peacock, Xumo Play, The Roku Channel and Telemundo.com, and it carried live Serie A from the opening weekend of Telemundo's deal.

How to watch the Milan derby (AC Milan vs Inter) in the US

The Derby della Madonnina falls on Matchday 10, Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 20:45 CET — that is 3:45 p.m. ET / 12:45 p.m. PT, with AC Milan the home side. The reverse fixture at Inter is scheduled for Matchday 24, around February 14, 2027; Lega Serie A confirms exact kickoff times a few weeks out, so the February date can move.

Where to watch it:

• English: Paramount+ carries it, guaranteed — every match is there. Whether it also lands on CBS, CBS Sports Network or Golazo Network is decided much closer to the date, and CBS has not announced it.
• Spanish: expect it on Telemundo and Peacock. A 3:45 p.m. ET Saturday derby is exactly the slot Telemundo has used for its broadcast-network simulcast — Roma-Atalanta and Juventus-AC Milan both went to Telemundo in the 2:45 p.m. ET window in September.
