At home the Eredivisie has one answer — ESPN, every match, until 2030 — but it is sold through your TV provider rather than as an app of its own. Abroad it is sold league by league through agents, and far fewer services carry it.
How to watch the Eredivisie
The Eredivisie is the easiest top league in Europe to watch in its own country and one of the harder ones outside it. In the Netherlands all 306 matches are on ESPN's four channels, and since 1 July 2026 those channels come with every Ziggo digital TV package; on KPN, Odido and the other providers they are an add-on called ESPN Compleet. There is no streaming-only ESPN subscription to buy on its own.
Outside the Netherlands the league's international rights are sold through the agencies IMG and Infront, market by market, and they rarely make headlines. The list below only includes services whose own published line-up names the Eredivisie — which today is a short list — so if your country is not here, check a sports package's own published line-up for the Eredivisie before paying for it.
The season runs from 7 August 2026 to 23 May 2027 with a winter break from 20 December to 8 January, so the long gap in the fixtures below is expected, not missing data.

Watching the Eredivisie without problems
- Sign up the day before, not at kick-off. Account creation, card checks and the first app download all take minutes, and sign-up pages are at their slowest in the half hour before a big match.
- A steady connection beats a fast one. Each service publishes its own minimum speed for HD in its help pages, and 4K needs several times that. On Wi-Fi, sit near the router; on mobile data, set the app's quality before the match rather than during it.
- Streams run behind the TV broadcast. An app is often thirty seconds or more behind live TV and radio, so goal alerts from a score app can arrive before you see the goal — mute them for the ninety minutes.
- Plans cap how many screens play at once. The entry tier of most services allows one or two streams at the same time; check the plan before sharing an account in a household.
- Travelling changes what plays. Subscriptions are licensed per country. Inside the EU, the portability rules let residents use their home subscription while temporarily in another member state; outside it, expect the home app to be geo-blocked.
- Official apps only. Unofficial streams are unreliable, full of malicious ads and cut off mid-match. Every service on this page is the licensed holder in its own market.
